This may sound a novel idea but it does put all vendor's rock sliders in one place so members and visitors can see what's really available for the 3rd gen Tacoma instead of surfing the interwebs 'til you go cross-eyed or blind.

Personally I'd like to see those with kick-outs and filler plates. I already have spent too much time surfing and still keep finding more but it's generally best to stick with known fabricators in the event something goes awry and you find yourself in need of technical support or customer service. So, what do the vendors have to say? Can we do this? The members of TW will thank you!

Simple really and not just you but all vendors who fabricate rock sliders specifically for the 3rd Gen Tacoma.

We need photos of all possible configurations ie: w/kickouts and w/o, w/filler plates, and w/o, filler options (dimpled, diamond plate) all cab and bed options etc., etc. What tube options are available standard or D.O.M., you get the gist. Would be awesome to have installation info maybe DIY how-to photos and so forth.

With so many offerings, along with so many fabricators and so many options it really turns into a PITA to decide which sliders. If we could get all -well at least some- in one place it would make life a great deal easier for us, the consumer. TW has a wealth of information within its pages -I recently determined this myself- why not make it a single source. We could do this with other popular mods as well.

By the looks of poll results, no one has voted No only Yes, that alone says something, I would think!

Maybe since you have done a bunch of legwork and already started the thread, you could just start putting up what you have in the OP. I would tag the TW vendors for each brand so if they have any objections (can't imagine why) or input they can just let you know . Otherwise just start putting some up. If it wasn't your thread, I would have just started putting them up.

    Maybe in alphabetical order.

    Vendor name: with @vendor tag
    Link to site:
    Available configs:
    Pics:

Next brand: and so on. If you are missing some info, just leave a placeholder.

Off the top of my head, SOS, BAMF, Mobtown, CBI, relentless, pelfrey

Just don't go with @Mobtown Offroad, They make you buy stuff and help you out when you have an issue. They're even pretty quick on replying to questions. Who has time for that when you expect rudeness and stuff. :annoyed::annoyed:

We'll get all info together and get it to you. Would be good to start a new "mega" thread which would be the first or second post reserved by OP so he can update it each time a vendor wants to be added. If not it'll get buried just like all the other threads.

Might help to have the thread locked to be read only and only editable by the op and mods so it doesn't turn into 50 pages of nothing really. Being such a popular forum, it doesn't take long for threads to go off topic and then becoming unsearchable.

I still don't understand why you aren't just putting up some info/links in the meantime.

We updated our website to show more pictures of our sliders on 3rd gens. You can pull all the info from there if you want. I'm not really sure how you want to organize everything.

We could post just Mobtown's sliders, I would be fine with that....:D. Makes organizing the info a lot easier.
