easier said than done sometimes when some areas temps dip well below freezing, not sure about the winter temp ranges in Pittsburgh?
hosing down at 30F degrees is much different than hosing down under everywhere in the low teens and colder, probably easier if your truck is lifted?
i've hosed mine down routinely as best i can in the western mid west for almost 1/4 century now until the fingers become numbed from the frigid cold
thank goodness i don't have a heated garage!

i find this interesting. 1st time using WW here this winter, hopefully i don't get disappointed like i was with FF last year :(
i tested a small spot of WW with the garden hose on power shower setting and laid into it hosing the fuel tank off, it held much better than FF from last winter
rubbed the finger on to see what did not get pushed down

Yeah - I get it. And may end up doing that. But in my 30+ years of driving cars in the PNW, I've never heard or seen of these types of issues from vehicles in this area. I just find it interesting there are so many issues folks have seen with the Tacomas, but a lot of them seem like they are from areas with a lot more adverse conditions where the roads are treated more frequently. I"m thinking the cosmolene route might be the way to go since I'd likely be doing it a lot less frequently

Also remember that as long as you do a good job applying Woolwax/FF, you don't have to do as much of an application in future rounds. Just the spots that are high wash areas. It's pretty easy and you really do find other issues that you would otherwise not find until there was an actual problem.
