3rd gen RWD Slip Yoke Position

    What is the normal position of the slip yoke at the rear of RWD transmissions? Mine seems to stick out like 1/8” from the actual housing, not to where you can see the slip yoke piece itself but the dust boot isn’t flush, is this normal? Thinking this could be causing vibrations but Toyota says it’s fine?

    Pictures would be helpful if you can post them!

    By the way the attached image isn’t from my truck just an example, mine sticks out about the same amount maybe a little less
