The bulkiness has a purpose. I think it’s supposed to have 10 percent improvement in airflow than the older ones. I just got mine and it looks great.

It just seems like it'l suck in more dirt facing forward. There's no real ram air effect going on, the engines aren't designed for that.

But yeah I do like the way they look, when it's swept back it's less of an obstruction.

So I followed your instructions perfectly and everything turned out very well except for the tape holding the snorkel onto the A-pillar. I used the same tape as you and it keeps coming off. Any suggestions?

Write up was spot on! Took about 2.5 hours. I painted the bare metal and then hit it with plastidip so 20/30min was drying time. The bolt above the tube that goes to the airbox was a bitch!!! But all done now! Thanks

Greatest write up I’ve seen so far! Awesome. Takes balls to cut into a new truck fender.

Been thinking about a snork. I need to see if it will clear Caliraised ditch lights and an UpTop Bravo rack.

Thank you for this write up, was a guiding light in my install today. Screw those top front last bolts on the snorkel, ratcheting wrench is the way to go. Used the 3m tape, breathes so much better and a little bump up in MPG, actually breathes better than the AFE air scoop setup I had prior. Hats off to you and if I ever run into you I owe you a drink good sir.
