Hey TW, wanted some input on my situation. I notice when I speed through some humps (on road) I feel as though my rear bottoms out. Not sure if that's what's happening, or if that's normal. I've seen some threads on saggy leafs etc but mostly on 1st and second genre here are photos of my driverside and passenger side leafs. They look pretty flat to me. Awhile back I saw someone explain that this is the tacoma spring design and it's normal but idk. Any suggestions?
*bought truck with spacers, upgraded to Eibach 2.0s, stil have block in rear, don't execute me.
    Thanks!

Every Toyota since the dawn of time has had saggy springs! There’s several ways to “fix” this, new aftermarket springs, add a leaf, air bags or what I used.

So ive read, but would you say these are sagging? or is this they way toyota springs look factory? On a 2017, seems a little quick to sag? bought used from dealership, already had blocks on.

Yes, those leafs are sagging. Is it a point of concern (unsafe), no...

Potentially, yes. Sagging leafs will cause you to hit the bump stop sooner. But in addition to that, the factory bumpstop is very hard rubber. Replacing the bumpstop would be cheaper and would be a more affective avenue towards resolving the harsh bottoming out.

    Yes.

I just replaced mine (not a 3rd gen) but I upgraded to a slightly heavier spring, huge improvement.

Don't replace with OEM, find an upgraded pack and you won't need the block and it will handle the roads and load much better.

Keep in mind that 3rd gens essentially have 2nd gen frames, including leaf springs.

What you read about them in the 2nd gen forum pretty much applies here too.

Thats what i was thinking, i was thinking of going with a 1.5 AAL, but now it might be best to just get a full leaf pack. Problem i might have (and please give input) is that with the Eibach shocks, they told me that 1.5 is max they are rated for, most leafs if not all are 2 inches? any thoughts?

For lack of a better term, flat leaf springs are 'balanced'.
If it's negative arch or 'W'-shaped, then it might be something to be worried about.

We have a leaf spring manufacturer for trucks in my city that can make and add a proper leaf spring in the pack for you. This usually adds 1" or more.

What city do you live in?

Just my experience... I installed an Icon AAL on my OEM leaf pack with about 8k miles. I removed the overload leaf as instructed and also because I didn't want any lift. It took very little time before my leaf pack and AAL were completely flattened and W'ed.

I'd explore a full leaf pack replacement. I believe the Icon RXT's can be set up for minimal lift. If interested, check with @memario1214 on availability and pricing.

you you have any weight in the back? i think the single AAL would be better with the weight in the back compared to the 3 leaf AAL.

I can tell you that my truck is stock and the springs look identical to yours. I was looking just last week while I changed over to the winters. The block did not do this. I have 56,000 kms on my truck. I have an Eibach 2.0 with block I plan to install in the spring. Blocks are fine as long as you don't go excessive. 1" is the limit I would recommend. I should take a picture of the leaf springs on my motorhome, the arc on them is reversed. It you find the bottoming out bad, then made a different shock with stronger valving or bumb stops are in order.

I read another post on one of the Eibach threads that the Eibach trucks are running more than 1.5" in the rear... let me see if I can find it.

I didn't have too much constant weight... but it was definitely exacerbated by carrying heavy loads in the bed.
