Like many others, I don't find the seating position to be comfortable. I'm young and in good shape, but my lower back would hurt after trips longer than a few miles... (Not a problem I experienced in my '04 Dodge 2500, even with a crappy seat).
I'm 6'0 and my legs are just too dang long to deal with a seat that low. I could slide all the way back, but then barely reach the steering wheel, lol.

I found someone selling seat spacers... but I decided I didn't want to wait (or pay), so I went the ghetto route and stacked five 3/16" spacers underneath the rear seat rail bolts (You have to get longer ones... M10x1.25x50mm).
All in all, it cost me around $10 and 5 minutes of "labor", lol. It made a world of a difference and I'm much more eager to take my truck on road trips now! No more back pain. I suggest buying the spacer instead, it's probably safer. And yes, doing this will compromise the safety of your seat in a high speed accident- do it at your own risk.

After living with this setup for a few thousand miles I think I may even add one or two more spacers for a slight height increase. Hope this helps someone.

The seat adjustments suck, it seems to click every two inches and if the damn steering wheel only went back a little bit more it would be okayish.
How the eff can young have power seats in anything above the base model.

Well, try raising it an inch in the rear and see if it helps you! :hattip:

Yeah, for me it's not the height of the seat...I got used to sitting on the floor from my 93 pathfinder. It's more an issue of having the seat angled right...which will never happen with the manual adjustments. Also the wheel doesn't pull back far enough.....maybe my arms are short!

I understand. If you raise the rear at all, it does change the angle of the seat. I like to have the wheel as close to me as possible, and this helped with that as well. Maybe it'd help you, I think its worth a shot :notsure:

I would honestly like the front of the seat raised a little as I always slide forward and have to keep pushing myself back.

Doesn't this tilt the seat forward? I feel like it would drive me crazy to feel like I was gonna slide out a my seat.

I thought it would, but the angle adjustment is actually pretty slight. Idk how it works, it just does. I prefer seats that have the lower half tilted back a bit myself, but raising it an inch put it at the [almost] perfect angle/height for me. I’d have to add foam to these seats to make them perfect for me... don’t plan on doing that anytime soon. Just blew my money on a softopper and SCS wheels....

I do too, but my legs were still too close the the floor/pedals at that height. If I slid it back any further to accommodate for my legs, then I’d no longer be able to reach the steering wheel lol

Yes indeed. Although my butt feels great in mama's RX350.... I wonder if a retrofit is possible

Yeah, I'd probably just get Recaro buckets if I was that desperate to change the seats lol. But I'm not anymore after raising it.

Just get one of these, saves your ass on the long rides and raises the seat a couple inches

I know I'm not that weird though, hundreds of people have complained about this. Not sure why toyota skimped on height adjustment.... my 2013 FR-S had it... and it cost $11k less than one of these. Lol.
