3rd Gen seats in 2nd Gen

Ok ok so the front seats will fit so I’m gunna grab the 3rd gen pro leather seats for my 15 pro, but the bigger question is will the rear seats swap over as well so my full interior will be matching??

 

I wish I could put the seats from my old bmw 335i m sport in my Tacoma.. loved those seats

If I rip out the seats in my M3 might put them in the Tacoma but sadly they aren’t comfortable

 

where are yall buying the seats?

Also, anybody have Second Gen TRD Sport mesh grey front seats that they replaced and wanna sell?

More info. Lol did it all bolt up, or was something custom done?

 

Wonder if the airbags will work on ours.

 

Bolted on without any issues, heating elements hooked up and installed just under the fan controls for both seats using high/low mode switches. The back lined up without issues as well, the rear seats open and click closed for storage access without alignment problems either. Overall it all worked out great.

 

More info? Did the airbag bs hook up?

 

Tell me more about this. I have a 15 and the threads I have researched griped about an adapter for the airbags. Does it work with just a connector swap?

Edit...nevermind. You were the guy with the other thread. The passenger side airbag wont work.

 

Unfortunately no electronic bypass for the passenger seat sensor anymore, but some people have done a mechanical bypass by clamping the original passenger seat sensors so the airbag is always armed or along those lines.

 

A friend of mine helped me out with the airbag sensor config. The left one is always armed, the right one is sensor based just like the old seat.

 

07 doesn't have side airbags, fyi. 09-15 do
