Recently picked up some LED bulbs to replace the stock side marker bulbs. Got the driver side replaced and got passenger bulb out.

However, toyota has made it very difficult to get the bulb back in. The wiper fluid reservoir is in the way, and there seems to be metal in the way aswell making it extremely difficult to hold onto the bulb.

Anyone replaced both side marker bulbs on a 3rd gen and know tips or tricks? Thanks!

Sounds extremely similar to 2nd Gen. Removing the 2 bolts that anchor the washer fluid reservoir helps a lot. Just let it lean towards the engine. Easier when the reservoir is low, obviously lol.

Edit: It’s still a tight squeeze. I never was able to replace those bulbs without slicing my hand
