Seems like RCI won't fit, trying to find a set that will. Anybody running skids on a 2.7l auto access cab?

Check out DV8, i have been running that skidplate for 6 years now, its been good to me. No oil filter window included, its all just a solid steel skid plate.

You're looking at an engine skid or a transmission skid?

You have an access cab or double cab?

Full skids, but front/engine seems to be universal. It looks like the trans skid (and maybe t case) are the issue, due to a cross member near the transmission being in a different spot on auto 2.7 trucks. I have an access cab with auto

I'm just nervous as I've heard the issue is the auto with the 2.7. that being said, I can't express how jealous I am you have a 3rd gen manual 2.7. super cool truck dude

Im in the same boat, nearly any engine skid will fit but I cannot get confirmation than most of the aftermarket trans and t case skids fit our trucks.
I'm also looking for aluminum only because steel is too much weight for the 2.7 and I dont rock crawl etc.

If you get the answer plz let us know

At the end of the day the truck will get skids, the question is whether they're off the shelf or a drunk cousin with a miller...
