Hi , Does anyone know if you can mount an 3rd gen OR OEM transfer case skid plate on a 3rd gen TRD Sport ? I see one for sale on Marketplace , but I can’t see any mounting holes underneath my 19 Sport behind the front skid plate . Thanks

Yes, all 3rd gen models share the same frame.

Most mid and rear skids I've seen, utilize large holes in the frame cross members, with large backing plates. The holes are not pre-threaded like the IFS (front) skid plate mounting points.

Thanks . I assumed the frames were the same. I can’t see any mounting holes on the truck where the front 2 bolts would attach for the transfer case skid plate . I can see some threaded holes on the truck for the rear 2 bolts of the transfer case skid plate , but none for the front 2.Would there be some additional hardware other than the 12mm bolts I would need ? Cheers

Stock with a camper shell for now.
Good video, thanks for sharing. I’m getting ready to install mine once I get the last skid that I ordered in the package this week but from what I have read it’s best to get some rubber fender washers for anywhere the skid has contact with the frame.
