I am going to make some sort of upgrade to my audio system. I have a '21 Sport without the JBL option.

I am looking at 2 options:

    Speakers Only:
I have seen a lot of different recommendations in the forums about what to use, such as the Subaru tweeters, or some combination of different kicker speakers. It would appear that I can do this option easily with this kit. I assume it is the normal speakers, mounts, connectors, etc. that are commonly used for this application. But if someone else has a different recommendation I'm all ears.

    Speakers + Under-Seat Sub
This is a more complex option but something I considered. Doing the same as above but adding an amp and sub under the drivers seat, I read that a shallow 8" generally fits.

I guess my question is if the kit linked is the way to go if I just swap speakers out? And if I went with the sub option, any recommendations on amp/sub/box? Thanks!

I did the Trail Grid Pro kit and am very happy with it. However, I did my head unit first, putting in a Sony 9500ES, which probably played a part. Not sure how well the OEM head until will power those speakers.
