What is the better product to buy in terms of effectiveness and accuracy? I see there’s a speedometer calibrator by rough country and there’s one by hypertech.

It's the same one, just rebranded. The functions and software are exactly the same. I've had the RC flavor for 4-years now, works great!

Okay thanks for the info.! I saw that rough country is cheaper in price so I wasn’t sure if that meant it was lacking in something compared to hypertech.

Glad you asked this for a more up to date opinion- I need to order one of the two in the next few days.

Yup I figured it just be easier than trying to sort thru a bunch of older forums on here regarding them.

Exactly. I did that search a while ago and it seemed to be mostly complaints about how expensive both units are lol

I've installed quite a few so if you need any help just msg me. As for tech tips. ensure you cycle the power on the unit after programming (or disconnect the neg(-) battery cable and reconnect after each time you program the unit so the settings "take". Otherwise you will be making fine-tuning adjustments incorrectly.

Good luck and enjoy an accurate speedo!!
