My Tacoma Developed a stutter at around 300 miles. at around 2000 miles it started stalling and no wanting to restart. Its a 4cyl. It only stutters over 70% engine load and will stall after driving it for some time (tho its random if it will or not) it sets no codes and shows nothing odd. The Foreman said it was bad gas and wanted to to run it down I did so and now around 1500 miles more its still doing it. The truck now when cold will cut out and buck if you don't let it sit and warm up. I feel so disenchanted with Toyota as they seem to care very little about the fact this truck is still giving me issues. Not even 90 days in and I have had to push this thing off the road more then once.. I never get upset with them...starting to think I need to. I understand cars fail but this is really proving to be a lemon.

Also its developed a Hop\Shimmy when stopping it feels like to comes from the rear the is audible clunk that can be heard some times

Personally, I would tell the dealer that I didn't feel comfortable driving it on the road and make them give a loaner and keep the truck until fixed. Do you have documentation of the early stuttering? Start asking for everything to be documented.

I'm betting electrical, like a cps or similar.

Try another dealer or call Toyota customer care.

Strange. 4 cyl is so basic it can’t be that hard to diagnose.

It actually does sound like bad gas. What did you do last time? Are you getting your gas at a different location? Did you put some type of gas dry in it? Did you run a higher octane?
    It definitely sounds fuel related.
When you run the gas down take it below zero miles to go. It will easily go 40 miles below the 0 miles left. Not much further than that though. Try running a tank of 93 octane and report back.

Please don't get started on lawyers and all that shit. That's the last option and he didn't log in to legaladvice.com, he logged in to a truck forum so offer truck advice.

I did not say get a lawyer.

I said document your shit on unresolved issues and familiarize yourself on your rights.

Bad gas? For two months? I have my doubts on that.

On your other thread you ended with stalled out and no start. I smell a rat. I don't care where you live. If you have a brand new truck with low low miles and it has a problem it gets dropped at the dealer until it is fixed under warranty.

Pour a bottle of HEET in the tank would not hurt a thing either.

My SR was built in September and has less than 500 miles on it now. I was a the dealer for a clunk in the front end when I pull out of my parking space, yesterday. They heard the clunk and after 2 hours they told me to drive it and if the sound of the clunk changes to come back. Sucks to have a clunk in my $25,000 plus truck but I guess I can live with it.

Yes I have ran the truck down to E NO have not been using the same station I was told NOT to put in 93 and to put 87in I put a Additive from BG we use for instances like this. nothing has changed the truck still runs the same. They had it a week and a half last time. They gave me a Uber home when they wanted me to ride with the foreman after the first week. He told me to drive it down and fill it up at a different station. I am running shell gas. They only drove it 40 miles and in 5 mile intervals (I have a tracker) it idled alot in the shop. I have not really spent much time TBH looking into it being that its the car I drive home and to work. Granted I doubt its gas issue because my Kia still runs from my first station and I don't think 100k from that station I have EVER had a bad tank...I am sorry if I came off like a ass hole I am frustrated....I just bought this thing...I want the truck I love it.. I just need it to be more then a good looking paper weight...

I've seen it before. It's just that bad of fuel it contaminates shit and unless you clean it out it remains fora while.

If he's going to the same place or other shitty places
