Hey guys my steering rack bushings are bad on my 2017 tacoma off road 4x4. I've called multiple dealerships and toyota corporate to find out you cannot order new bushings but instead they want you to order the whole steering rack. Which is not something I want to do when mine is still good. So I found polyurthane bushings by energy 8.10106 listed for a 2013 tacoma. Now my question is if these will fit my 3ed gen steering rack?

I've contacted energy and the sales guy just told me it's good for the years listed. But I cannot imagine the steering rack bushings change when a lot of the truck still matches up to 2nd gen parts.

Curious as well. I’m going through the same thing with my 2014. I just haven’t had a chance to pull the skid plate off to see if the Energy bushings will work or not.

Little suspect. Who diagnosed this? My 1st gen had 200k on it and the only reason i put new ones in was because the rack went and had a new one installed so put new bushings in
