I'm changing my steering rack because it broke on me however something odd came up...
The mounting holes from my Taco are 14.25" apart (SEE ATTACHED) while everyhting else out there measure 15.44".
Or at least the ones I tried to order (eBay & Toyota dealer) where 15.4"
    Has anyone come accross this?

Epic first post! Welcome. Sorry I can't help with the measurements, but I would like to hear about how you broke a steering rack on a 20 Taco...

Married a tree, engine shifted 2 inches sideways and 1.5 towards the back. Also had to get a new front subframe....of course all the pieces you can possible image on the front end.

Assuming here cause I'm not sure. From your image it looks as thou you are measuring center hole to center hole. The measurement you see online could be straight across end to end on the outer mount. The differences seen to match up well between the two. I'm not positive how the dealer/sellers measure the distance between the two. While I would assume it's hole to hole because that make the most sense, dumb shit happens all the time.
