3rd Gen Steering

Recently took My 2018 Sport out on a trail and noticed after I was done that my steering had loosened up and now when ever I go over a bump the play comes threw my steering wheel and my truck feels a little floppy on the suspension side, definitely doesn't ride as it used to. Anyone run into the same problem.

 

My truck has driven somewhat like that from day one. Bigger tires and more wheel offset have made it much worse.

It sounds like you're experiencing bump steer. Bring her into an alignment shop. The toe of your alignment is what is causing this issue. It is also possible that there is damage, but that depends on how hard you were riding the trail.

 

The bump steers not too bad but it definitely was not there before, it was just a mild trail nothing too extreme. Taking it in to the dealership on the 26th to give it a look over. i posted just to see if someone else experienced this. the truck used to ride amazing!
