Does anyone know who makes a switch panel that goes in place of the drivers side storage pocket above the current switches? I can find pics but no info.

Does anyone know the part number for the cubby? I want to install a CB and I would rather practice using a dremel on another cubby first

I sent him a PM and he threw it out. Thanks for the lead though!

If anyone has one that they don't want, please send me a PM and we can work something out. Or a part number would be helpful too.

I guess it's the cover face plate that I actually need. I will post there anyhow. Thanks

I noted this plate and a few switches:

TRD - Tacoma Narrow Switch Plate for '16 Tacoma

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION (Got off this forum)
This switch plate replaces the small dash pocket to the left of the steering wheel in 2016+ Toyota Tacomas. It is made to accept 3 of the Toyota style switches measuring 21mm x 39mm. Please note: switch fit and dash fit are both intentionally snug to keep parts from rattling.

    LED LIGHTS

    SCOOP LIGHT
    http://www.ch4x4.com/product/ch4x4-toyota-push-switch-scoop-light-symbol/

    USB VOLTMETER
    http://www.ch4x4.com/product/toyota-usb-charger-with-voltmeter/

These switches show an opening of 23.85mm x 40.64mm. I either need different switches or a different plate? Looking for some help before I order the wrong item(s).

The switches and plate work together, can't speak to the USB voltmeter since it measures larger than the switches.

Thanks forty2. I'll look for a regular USB outlet and just get the other two switches. Appreciate the help.

My guess is that the USB voltmeter will work, just sized to fit tightly in the OE opening. The switch panel should be pretty close but due to the imperfect nature of 3D printing it may not be perfect, but the printed plastic is easily trimmable. Were I in your place I'd probably try it, but I have all kinds of shit laying around my place from trying things that just don't work right or need redesign, etc. I'm probably not the best example to follow, but my waste is why the things I do end up putting forward fit pretty damn well.

Thanks. I'll get around to ordering the Panel, then the switches and USB/voltmeter. It'll be awhile before I get everything together, led front lights and scoop light, but I'll get there. Great forum. Thanks again. On a side note, have had several compliments on my TRD catback. I do like it and no real cab drone, in case anyone is interested in a catback.

How hard was the installation for that plate?

Super easy. You just pull that panel piece out and unscrew the cubby from the back and reinstall. Running the wires is way worse.

I feel like that's usually the easiest as long as you have a wiring harness. I get frustrated watching videos of people installing wiring from stratch

Does anyone have a video of how to install that switch panel? And would the cali raised led OEM switches fit no problem in there?

Don't have a video but I did use switches from Cali Raised no problem.
