Hey I just received my order from shapeways, switches are ready to go too. Just wondering if anyone has seen a guide for how to remove the left lower dash to replace the cubby with this switch panel? Thanks!

How did you get the stock "pocket" out?

Same question I have. I think there are 3 bolts, but hoping someone has a post/guide/video to confirm before I go breaking something.

Just use a interior removal tool or a screwdriver and pry on it gently, it will just pop out, the pocket has 2 screws on it.

Found what I was looking for :

Step 5: Remove the lower dash panel from below the steering wheel. This seems much harder to do than it actually is. Just bite the bullet and pull it down, it makes life WAY easier on the next couple of steps and if you don't you will risk scratching the dash or breaking tabs trying to access the switch. To do this, remove the sill plate by the door (it just pulls straight up on tabs), next remove the kick panel (1 thumb screw and 2 tabs - pull towards the center console). This will expose a bolt behind the top of the kick panel that needs to be undone. Then undo the other 2 bolts that are visible. Next, just simply start pulling down on the dash panel, it's held in by 11 clips, they won't break and come out easy. *Note the knee airbag will stay in place so no need to mess with it:

Just grab the pocket and the lower lip and pull out. When you pull also pull towards the driver door and it will come right out. Only clips hold that in, no need to remove the lower dash.
