285/75r16 KO2's, Baja XL 80's on CBI ditch brackets, TRD intake, opticoat pro, clear bra running the bottom sides, morimoto LEDs, all white LEDs inside, mounted shovel and axe above wheel well in the bed, linex'd the bed...
Anyone hear of any superchargers in the works for the 3rd gen?

Surprised no one's done it yet. Must be a ridiculously big market for it at this point.

    ***UPDATE
Emailed Magnuson and URD - they both have a 3rd gen supercharger in the works. No release date yet though from either...

The way the Atkinson cycle is designed, it would push air straight through too much and not be efficient for what it would cost. Kinda sucks bc I'd love to have one even if it only made an extra 50hp.

Depends what you consider a big market... But it'll for sure add a few million in revenue a year for a company

no chance in hell. they didnt even make a few million in ten years off of selling 2nd gen ones. how many people do you really think are going to shell out the dough for a supercharger, let alone even care about having one?

I wish it would, but more likely a turbo would work better especially if someone would make a nice boost cam and could do tuning support. I just don't see it happening. I hope I'm wrong.

    Is that factual?

    If .15% of 2016 3rd gen owners get one you'll break a million. 1 in 670 purchases

The problem isn't making the supercharger, its making the engine work with one.
