    Hello,

Had a lift installed on a 19 Tacoma. Fox 2.5, total chaos UCA, and Deaver AAL.

Had it at the dealer yesterday and they are claiming the lift was installed incorrectly. They said the coil over mount is being cut by the lower control arm and that it “doesn’t look right” lol. Attached a pic. Anyone seen anything like this or have ideas of cause? Contacting the shop that installed on Monday.

    Thanks

Agreed, looks to be missing the spacers and they just ugga-dugga'd it tight. The rust right where it would have bent is a tell-tale sign.

Thanks for the replies. It definitely looks like there is a spacer/bushing missing on both sides, but only the one side is grinding like that.

It's a uniball style link, so it'll turn in the socket whichever way it wants.

That shop needs to buy you some control arms if you ask me.

I think you can see the misalignment spacers in there...they should have come on the coilovers already so I doubt the shop took them off. Looks like maybe they overtightened the bolt going through the lower shock mounts which pulled those tabs together so that they're rubbing the eyelet? IDK but that bolt shouldn't be extraordinarily tight...on my 04 the torque spec is 100ft lbs.

If that's the case then I don't know if loosening it will solve the problem or if those tabs are bent permanently now...
