    Hi fellow turd geners...

looking to upgrade my sway bar bushings from the crappy soft fall apart rubber to nice polyurethane. I am aware that this could add some harshness to the ride so thanks in advance for those comments.

I can only find AC delco ones after lots of searches which seems ridiculous. Moog makes some as well, but they are just nicer rubber. Has anyone found any others? Also, what size (diameter) are our sway bars? Some resources say 28mm some say 30mm.

For end links, what aftermarket ones are you running? Moog makes some which seem decent, they have zirks and polyurethane bushings, which are requirements for me. I'm also in discussion with a guy on here that makes them but are super spendy so I want to explore what else it out there.

    Thanks!

I believe Energy Suspension has what you need. As far as the diameter, I’m assuming TRD Sport has a thicker sway bar.

That said, polyurethane bushings are Meh. They ovalize over time and they squeak. Stock rubber is best. If you want something firmer, go with a Sport sway bar.

This is correct. I believe the Offroad is 28mm and the Sport is 30mm.

Very helpful, thank you! I'm guessing the 28mm afford better flex for offroading at the expense on on road handling. I read a lot about quick disconnect end links to essentially disengage the sway bar for offroading, but most seem to think it makes little difference unless you're truly rock crawling, wheels off the ground, etc.

good idea on the 30mm bar, I'm going to try the poly bushings as well. It's only $10 and 5 min. of work. Energy Suspension makes nothing for the 3rd gen and I can't find any other 28mm toyota that they make.
