having a real hard time finally choosing what bumper with swingarm i want to get. would love to hear from some experience with them.

dual arm vs single arm pros and cons?
    quality of how they latch?
durability on offroad.... experiences with pivots bending or breaking due to the weight of tire and other things?
and price(i expect most of them to be kinda expensive).

now at the truck shop i seen another customer who had a dual swingarm that i thought looked good. he ws sold on the fact that each swingarm independently latched which i thought is a good idea but i cant recall what bumper it was.

I have the Wilco Offroad, I really like a lot of things about it but also hate a couple of things.
    Pros
    • Tire is easy to get to for changing.
    • I added the fold down table which is nice to use for my stove, tools, radio, whatever.
    • Rotopax 1 gallon water is also mounted
    Cons
    • Does not have a stop when swinging out which resulted in a broken tail light from swinging out to far.
    • moves weight higher and further rear, not sure how much it matters with the HD leaf pack I have but it could squat a bit with standard leaf pack.
    • If you forget to put the pin in to lock the swing out it will open very quickly and violently while driving (I know this from experience).
    • Kind of a pain sometimes to access the bed when your hands are full (I have a locking tonneau cover as well).

I would absolutely get one again though even with the cons. Going to take it to the local welder in a couple of weeks and see if he can weld some sort of stopper on it to limit the swing out before it smacks the side of my truck again.

I went with At the Helm. He's out of Nevada. I liked his the best. High clearance rear and a single swing out. So far I love it. Only negative is having to open the latch before dropping the tailgate. Other than that, I have no complaints. Price was better than anyone else when I purchased too.

Running a Coastal Offroad rear with just a single sided swingout. Nice because you don't need a huge radius area behind you to open it like the bumpers that have a single swingout that spans the width of the whole rear end. Swingout/spare does shake the whole bumper when you jump it/drag the spare on things, but any rear will have some flex to it with 100lbs hanging off of the back.

Its the Frontrunner table but it does require the Hitchgate Accessory Plate from Wilco to mount. We do a lot of tailgating for football so the TV is just mounted to a piece of angle iron from home depot and a quick release TV mount that is bolted to it.

everyone does have very solid points so far.

with the single arm... notice any weight difference with the tire mounted so far to the side?

Not yet. When I go camping, I've got 4 gallons of water mounted next to the tire. About 40-50lbs total. So it evens out somewhat.

Nada, if anything it evens out the Taco lean with the gas tank and battery on the drivers side.

    All the things!
Yes. With the battery, gas tank and driver all on the same side, there is a considerable weight differential, side to side. Typically, the driver's side sits 0.5" lower than the passenger's side, from the factory.
