So I know the autos get an automatic transmission cooler in the package, does the manual tranny get its own cooler or no?

Manual transmissions do not need a cooler lol. They are direct drive, no torque converter or clutch pack.

Reasonable question, but hiPSI is right, there is little to cool. The left pedal controls the heat.

The torque converter and the pressurized hydraulic system create heat in the automatic transmission. This requires a cooler to keep the temperature in check and the cooler is normally found incorporate in the radiator. When towing more heat in generated by the weight. This extra heat needs a larger cooler to dissipate the heat so a separate (typically thermostaticaly controlled) cooler is installed along with the radiator incorporated cooler.

In the case of a manual transmission, the fluid is splash lubricated which means the fluid is simply splashed around by the rotating gears. There is no hydraulic pressure system and no shearing from a torque converter. So no cooler is required because transmission heat is not an issue. Even under load of towing.
