I just recently bought a snugtop camper for my truck and never paid any attention to my bed because it's exposed to the elements. Now that I have the camper on there and it's raining I noticed that there's water coming from the two t55 bed bolts closest to the cabin. I'm thinking of maybe adding a rubber washer, has anyone came across this problem? I know the tacoma is know to leak in two spots between the bed and cabin. I know one side is leaking and planning to caulk that.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
You should check to determine if the water might be dripping from the cap at the 2 front corners. You don't say what year your Taco is, but I know that the Leer cap on my '21 TRD leaks a bit at those 2 corners. There is a small step in the top of the trucks side bedsides with respect to the front. The OEM gaskets from the cap aren't always thick enough to actually make a water-tight seal at the corners.

I really doubt water is coming up from those bolts.

If you take them out (as I did to install extra D rings) you’ll find those bolts actually pass through a “well” that serves as the foot to keep your bed off the frame.

Imagine the bolt passing through the top of a shot glass and that is what you’ve got.

Water is more likely to get under that washer and sit in that well. I actually broke one of those bolts on my 2010 due to corrosion. The bolt itself was about 1/3 gone from rust.

Granted, I live near the beach and always seem to have wetsuits and surfboards in the bed, but still worth looking at for rust protection.
