Just saw all your messages. You got P-type mosfets, right? When power is applied to the gate, there should be no power on the drain and vise versa.

What voltage do you have on the gate of each of the fets when the fog switch is on and off? When they are off you should have voltage at the gate, and when they are on there should be no voltage at the gate. If the voltage isn't changing it sounds like the wires aren't tapped properly or the wrong wires were tapped. Did you use the taps that came with the IQ? They are kind of too big for the gauge wire under the dash, you may not be making proper contact with the wire.

If you want to test the IQ controller, bypass the fets and just put the solid purple and orange wires to a 12v power source. The fogs should come on, or you should have voltage on the striped orange and purple. Additionally if you touch the orange, purple, and the white wires all to a 12V power source the fogs should come on their brightest setting. Also ensure your switch is working and the voltage on the yellow wire isn't floating, it needs to be either 12 or gnd or the IQ/fogs will stay off.

Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday, I hadn't logged in at all.

Not quite the same thing. The bright box you linked only allows you to have your fogs on as normal or with the high beams. This mod lets you turn on your fogs with no other lights on, which is what I was looking for.

Why do you need to run the wire from the blue wire in the steering column into the engine bay? If I am reading the diagram right, the only wire that needs to run to the bay is the wire that connects to the fog lights.....Can't you tap the fuses inside the cab?

The other downside (for me) is the high beams retain the low beams at the same time. Not something I’m looking for.

Did @KTJO 4x4 decide against the p2p harness? Seems like this was in works before the HUD display or the drivers side grab handle.

Ok guys...I was supposed to be picking them up this last weekend but my guy had to go out of town because his grandmother passed away. He told me that he will be back this weekend and will make it up to me but I told him that is the least of my worries right now and for him to be with his family. They are planning her services for this upcoming week is what I have heard but other than that I’m not really sure. I know they are done. I’m just giving him this time.

That makes perfect sense and easily the right decision. Anyone that gets upset by you giving him the time he needs is a complete tool!

Fogs will not come on with only DRLs on.
Fogs will not work with high beams activated.
Fogs will work with parking/clearance/DRLs lights on.
Fogs will work with low beams (whether auto on or switched on the stalk).

    Hope that helps a little.
    Cheers, Will

My 2016 acts just like yours, except that I can put the park lights ON and you can turn on the fogs....the DRL's are on also.

I like running that way..!! I use Nokia Hyper Yellow....:canada:

@cdubray I'm trying to do the anytime fog mod utilizing the factory switch on the steering wheel stick but I'm having trouble. I taped the dark blue wire and tried using the normally closed post on a relay (instead of mosfet) but the dark blue wire isn't sending a current (or isn't strong enough to trigger the relay) long story short do you have any more soldered mesfet and resistors? I'm hoping the mosfet is sensitive enough to use the dark blue wire signal and make this all work!
