    I appreciate everything about my Tacoma. Does it have quirks, I’m sure it does. None of which bother me though.
    Coming from a diesel ZR2, it was only a matter of time before all the emissions failures, dpf issues etc. I feel I got out of it at a good time! I wouldn’t give my tacoma up for anything now that I have it.
    I know everyone would go nuts over a diesel Tacoma, but be careful what you wish for. Our lovely EPA here in the US would destroy it. Overseas they are awesome! Here in the states with all the restrictions, I feel people would be disappointed. My 2 cents anyway. Enjoy your Tacoma, I know I will be!

    for what it is, the Tacoma is great. At first there was some transmission shift issues, but it seems to have quit doing that on its own within the first 35,000, which is where im at now with my '17 trd sport.
    there are things about it that irk me, but thats mostly my gripe with Toyota for being such cheap bastards and not being able to unlock the doors from the passenger side using the sense and crap like that, but i love it nonetheless, especially since i have done a bunch of MESO mods to it7F363B2F-5758-4CA8-A911-87C2DF77E1CF.jpg C414A69B-8E05-49F7-8C8C-726B94FF2183.jpg

    @Mrtacoman88
    next up is BLH mod- i have the amber signals now, and Meso side led markers, so i'm ready to take my headlamps apart and paint/mod. After first of year i will install either Bilstein 5100's or Falcon shocks all around, Camburg uniball uca's.
    i like the fj steelies so will probably keep running them, just put new rubber on em.
    then the last big mod will be CBI front/rear bumpers.
    then its just little stuff like skid plate, sliders, more Meso stuff, leather interior, trd pro exhaust.... it just keeps growing....the never ending list

    Still stock completely capable!
    I absolutely love my truck more and more every day! I have never once said “maybe I made the wrong choice” this truck fits my life perfectly! Every time I add a mod even a little one just makes me more and more happy to see it in the driveway! I have owned a Ram 1500 and F150 and I loved the space of them but I also love the space of my Taco it’s just me and the wife and dogs so midsize is more than enough! I can take my taco to so many more places I wouldn’t have been able to fit my other trucks. I truly hope to have this truck until gas is no longer a thing and I plan to add a few more Toyota’s to the family now! Could not possibly be happier!
    Thanks @Mrtacoman88 for starting this thread some times people need a reminder there trucks are not a POS.
