First off: I love being a Tacoma owner/community member due to how many of us are like-minded, 2A supporters! I like combining both of my hobbies (vehicles & guns), and my Tacoma purchase allows me to be a part of a community who also generally shares both of my interests.

I very well my consider this mod! I'm not afraid of drawing & shooting with my weak hand, or cross-drawing - so this fits my needs perfectly.

I can't believe someone would allow themselves to be sprayed by either one of those. But that is really good to know. Thanks for sharing that!

This mod is great. My only concern with it, is every time you exit your vehicle, it's very obvious you have a gun in the vehicle to anyone looking at you as you get out. I would be concerned about someone breaking the window and stealing your gun after you walk away. Can't take that gun everywhere. I wonder if the quick draw magnet could be mounted under the steering wheel, and you could have your gun above your knees. I had this under a desk at a previous company I worked for, and it was great.

I mounted a concealmentexpress Glock holster which I can easily swap out for my HK VP9 holster

I may find a spot to put an AR pistol or my Vector SBR.

I waded through all the carry vs non carry crap and never saw this mentioned about the mount (I may have missed it though, because there was a lot of Off Topic barble) Can you grab the handgun to draw it with the door closed? Not a lot of space between the door pocket and the seat trim. Well done... but fat hands and thick grips...??

If only their quality control wasn't so poor and their 30-day guarantee wasn't nearly complete BS (IE not refunding shipping either direction on a $50 holster that was made with defects... after overcharging for shipping to begin with)... It might be worth giving them a looksee.

Sorry you seemed to have had a bad experience. I haven't had any issues and a friend of mine is also happy with the holster he has. My experiences are within the last month or so. Possibly they have gotten better quality wise?

I would agree if there was a defect you should have gotten your shipping refunded and they should have paid to get the defective one back.

and it seems to me that the many places that had multiple shootings/attacks were all in places that were "GUN-FREE ZONES", now that's funny.....I will protect myself and my family when we are out...thank you very much..

    I got a 3.0 about 1.5 months ago.
I sent them an email asking about my issues (uneven stitching, sharp edges against the body, and even with the largest spacers, the gun could not be inserted without it racking the slide nor pulled without extraordinary force). Their entire response was that I could return it, and they gave me an addreas to ship it to - and that I would receive a refund minus shipping. They did not respond to any additional emails.

Alien gear went from 'not on my recommendation list' to my 'actively recommend against list' real fast. Pretty silly for a holster manufacturer to treat a CCW instructor that way.

Gun in the cup holder when driving - gun in the concealed holster when exiting. Far more secure. Nice mod though.

A gun in the cup holder is in my line of sight and is in reach at all times. That's security. Obviously, that's not a good plan if their are kids in the car. In that case, the gun is carried in a concealment holster on my person. Your thoughts ?

    Ever hit a pothole?

    Fender bender?

Knocked a drink out of a cupholder while getting to into whatever music you listen to?

That's not security in my book.

last edit: I tried the cupholder. had a gun loose under my feet after making a hard turn.
