Looks like the TVS 1900 is not like your grandpa's old roots style SC and intercooling is the key factor to making good boost with these blowers. Will be interesting to see dyno #'s comparing Harrop to Magnuson

URD looks like its going to be the first one to market. Its a centrifugal SC kit which IMO doesn't fit the needs of this engine well (power/torque exponentially increase as RPM's increase which produces torque/HP up high. This engine has good power up high but lacks torque/HP down low)

Harrop and Magnuson are producing a similar TVS Roots type SC. No updates since SEMA in November but said to expect sales in late spring/summer 2020. Of the SC kits, I would prefer one of the Roots types versus centrifugal since the Roots will provide more torque down low with a linear increase as the RPM's increase. FYI: OVTuning who is developing a twin turbo kit has identified that the stock fuel pump/injectors have limitations when under large amounts of boost so its possible that these kits may be delayed further for more R&D but it's just speculation.

IMO these engines desperately NEED boost and the best option will be the twin turbo kit. In words of OVT: this engine LOVES boost and has demonstrated its ability to withstand the increase forces associated with boost. He doesn't feel that low levels of boost will greatly impact longevity of the engine but time will tell.

the OVT TT kit will significantly out perform any of the SC kits without doubt. smaller twin turbos can produce more torque/HP at a lower RPM (area under the curve) than the roots or centrifugal SC kits which fits the needs of this high revving V6 engine. Furthermore, it looks like the TT kit will be the cheapest but Downside is that the TT kit is a bit more complex to install with more parts compared to the SC kits.
