Looking for a video or instruction on how to change just the ball joint on my Tacoma. Shop I go to is is sure it will take 2-3 hours of labor to do and wants $320 per side. I can only find a lower control arm with the ball joint assembly and can see that would take more time to justify the labor cost. I found this one: https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/4333009510 Any advice is appreciated or if your local to the Portland, OR area and can help, maybe some beers and a few bucks to teach me how to do it!

I haven't done them yet, but I will be changing the LCA ball joints on my wife's 4Runner soon. Found this video to follow. Once you get the hub and axle out of the way, removing and installing the ball joint seems pretty straightforward. You can rent a ball joint press from Autozone/Oreilys for free; I just got done using one replacing the u-joints in my driveshaft.

A couple of things I would do differently than the guy in the video: 1. Soak the old ball joint with a penetrating spray for a few hours. Should make removal easier. 2. Once the old ball joint is out, clean out the flange with some brake cleaner. Deburr with a file if needed.

Edit: One other thing, I think installing would have been easier had he flipped the press, so that it would be pushing up on the joint. I would also probably use a breaker bar instead of power tools to keep a closer eye on it, but that's just me.

There seems to be loads of ball joint choices on Rock Auto.

Always shop out of state for parts, 1/3 cheaper than local dealers. Try Olathe Toyota in KS.
