3rd Gen tacoma m/t can't spin tires

rev it up to 6k and dump the clutch! she'll be singing

My truck does the same shit and i hate it. Its all the electronic safety bullshit. My second gen would spin tires in dry, rain, snow, or mud with ease but this 3rd gen is a total fun nazi

I havent tried dumping the clutch yet, i paid a lot and i still owe just a little less than half haha. I also got brand new tires on.

Maybe in a year or two i will take her virginity. Im sure it should do it with the long press of the trac button.

 

I can't speak for manual transmission but with the automatic I've done everything and still the transmission cuts off power at about 4000rpm. Its so anoying and embarrassing when people are watching

 

My truck has less power but seems to break free without even intending to sometimes.

Maybe buy a 2nd gen? My spare Tacoma spins tires without trying to. But DAMN she ugly.

I only spin her when she’s wet... when she is dry it hurts...

 

Also an inferior one but just to cancel out how ugly I am or so I hope

 

1) Turn traction control off

2) rev engine to 4500 rpm

3) drop the clutch

 

1 Wind up to 5000 rpm

2 Shift from N to D.

3 Bitchin

4 Crawl underneath truck to pick up the shrapnel that was once your drivetrain.

 

I think that would do the trick.

i have and i just cringed because it didn't spin the tires and dropped back down to like 1k and took about 5000 miles off my clutch lol

 

Damn I'll definitely try not to do that
