3rd Gen Tacoma Power Folding Mirrors

Now I which I had taken pictures of my mirrors as I disassembled and reassembled them, my connector plates didn't look like the one you have pictured.

My driver side mirror was busted up in a hit and run, and the insurance deductible & bs ain't worth it so I'm in the market for a new set of mirrors. These look amazing. Is the kit just for the motor & wiring though - I'd still need a replacement mirror & housing for any of the broken parts?

If you need a brand new mirror housing you will need Option 2

 

I think I got to stuck in reading the other two options vs what was on the website, eventually figured out option 2 was what I needed!

Look what I just found



It is for our LHD Truck and not the RHD Truck this time. This is the Switch I have been waiting for them to come out with so that I can test it. This is what will solve the Winter issues and allow for you to either keep your mirrors folded if you want them folded or I unfolded if you want them unfolded. You keep the switch in Auto Function if you want the Mirrors to work normal. As our switch sits now, we can only override our system in the folded function with the switch. This one will allow us to do both. I just need to test it and see what needs to be different because there is a slight difference and a change that needs to happen. With this switch, on the top there are two prongs on one side, but only one on the other. With our current, we have two and two. So we will see. Fingers crossed

 

I will be sending you a set of these so if you want to exchange yours you can everyone on the list will be getting a set

 

No need to send new ones at this point I have them installed and don't feel like pulling them back apart. I think the holes on mine lined up well enough and are holding everything very securely. Thanks,

5. Tomorrow I will be responding to all my messages. Checking all the New Orders and Building New Mirrors to send out along with some DIY Packages from the List. I have a couple left to check off.

Well I tell you what SR5 people. I try to do you right and I get your Harnesses in just to have to Ship them right back. I’m so sorry. Unfortunately, they were missing the white wire for the ACC connections.

However, my Vendor is on it and said he will send me ASAP. Therefore, the DIY Package and the Package 3 Set will just have to sit Ready to Ship a little while longer I guess. The good news is, they both are ready to ship. So all orders are caught up right now on the Order List I do believe. I have a lot of shipments happening tomorrow.

Awesome. I was going to send you a message asking if this would be a option for the mirrors Todo. Can't wait to be able to get a hold of one. With this addition I'd say this kit is perfect

 

UPDATE:

Just a quick update for those that will be getting their Packages soon. When you get your hardware bags, they will look different than what is on the picture of the overall kit. That is ok. I have changed some things up because you no longer need the longer screws or those spacers anymore with having the adjustment plate the way it is. I also have added enough screws so that you can reuse all of your stock screws and the screws that I have supplied to secure your new adjustment plate with 8 screws: 4 to the connection plate and 4 to the actuator. That thing is going nowhere.

Yes. Give me a little time and the install guide will get updated with those changes.

Well it has been fixed and is being shipped as we speak.



The great thing about having the ACC and the Ground tapped into this PNP Harness is now you don’t have to run this two wires into your OEM O1 Connector anymore. The only wires you will have in your O1 Connector now is the Fold and Unfold Wires coming from the Motors in the Mirror.
