Tacomaworld posters average a 95% failure rate on everything, from paint to diff breathers.
As a matter of fact, the people who post here claim the whole truck is a failure. Their marriages are a failure, their kids hate them, their gardens won't produce and the dog ran off. Whose fault is it? Their Tacoma truck of course.
We need to start a campaign to enlighten buyers on the "Joy of Tacoma Trucking," where every mistake is just a happy little accident. Remember when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor????

    One of my role models.
    It's a wonder I'm still standing.
I hate to say it, and as fun as the 70's and early eighties were, if we continued down that rabbit hole we were doomed as a civilization lol. Barely made it to 1980. It was close.

I can’t do 4 cylinders either. Not even an option. Hell, the 6 cylinder isn’t even powerful. I can’t imagine an engine even more gutless that what it already is.

Well our 20th century had two world wars, two “police action” (wars), a flu pandemic, a Great Depression, a nuclear Cold War, political assassinations and race riots.

Doomed as a civilization you say?

Pretty sure we are just rolling with the punches like we have since we left those African tree tops in search of food...lol

And absolutely, John Belushi was an extremely talented human being.

The original “not ready for prime time players” were really very funny imo.

The last episode I actually watched had Eddie Murphy in the cast, so can’t comment about what it is now...lol

Did everyone miss the Bob Ross reference? I thought I knew my audience and could combine John Belushi and Bob Ross into one post and everyone reading would just go "Hmmmm, interesting."

This is the most relevant post I’ve seen on here.

Most of the time people’s complaints are a front for a bigger underlying issue in their life. They see a small complaint on a truck and see it as the green light to go off on a rant about how something so small is affecting their life negatively when in reality the underlying issue is bigger than a weird shifting transmission.

When I see the complaints on here I just try to ignore them.
It’s ironic that the people asking for help are the ones getting mocked or the least amount of attention on a thread meanwhile the people complaining about their truck gets pages filled with people’s input, that says something.

TW is a great community and resource for help. Don’t let a couple bad apples spoil the good thing we got going on here. The shit going on in the world is already negative enough, this is an escape for a lot of people so no need to bring that negative bullshit here.

There’s people that would kill to have a truck like ours, even with the so called “issues” but can’t afford to especially now.

Yeah the truck ain’t perfect, but I’ll take a truck with shortcomings than no truck at all.

Dude was amazing. Could take a putty knife and a house paint brush and make masterpieces... in my opinion.

I know who he is and watched him paint many a tree, just never cared too much though. Was usually baked and his monotone voice was soothing/interesting at 2 or 3 in the morning.
