3rd Gen Tacoma SR Catalytic Converter Security

This has probably been asked 1000 times but I couldn’t find an answer for my model. I had my catalytic converter stolen on my 2021 Tacoma SR (4Cyl) with 1850 miles on it. I found some security systems but all of the security systems I found say they’re for the 4x4 Tacoma’s. Not sure if those would fit mine. Any help is appreciated.

 

Talonsgarage.com is what I went with. I have a 2020 SR 2.7l 2wd. I also installed a Cat strap for the secondary cat

 

www.talonsgarage.com for a fairly simple 1/4" bolt on plate
www.getgatsecurity.com for a snug fitting 1/8" plate that requires drilling

If you're not mechanically inclined, I'd go for the Talon one. If you're comfortable with drilling through steel, setting rivet nuts, and have a way to lift your truck up (jack, rhino ramps, etc.) I'd get the cat security one.

 

I’m gonna cut off my secondary before anyone else does. Good thing I can weld in a tube section myself lol.
