What a strange comparison. And you should probably focus more on yourself... When I go to a swingers party, I can assure you it's for my own personal gratification. If my lady has a good time, great. If not, maybe next time she will. Either way, it won't hurt me personally because I'll still have fun. Like, so much fun!

Why would you say something like that?, the engineers from all vehicle makes have the difficult task of designing vehicles that must meet all sorts of conditions!, all makes has quirks and that's just how things are. Rest assured that on other forums from other makes people talk about similar things or worse...I love my 3rd gen Tacoma!

I had more confidence my second gen. I also think the second gen is the overall best toyota truck in their history.

I like my third gen though.

I bought my 3rd gen because I wanted to have something to complain about. It was completely new and should have been riddled with problems. I needed something to constantly complain about, spend money fixing and overall be a complete piece of shit because I felt my life was getting a little dull. But no, despite my best efforts, this truck won't break and has not led to the sympathy party and life changing events I was hoping for. 10/10 would not buy again.

Drives better than a 3rd Gen (not a) Tacoma.

Never drove a ridgeline, but it looks horrible, basically no off road capability, no MT option, front wheel drive, unibody construction, spare is at the bottom of the bed, did i mention how ugly it is?

Right tool for the right job. I will never personally own one, but for the way 98.9% of people use their Tacoma they'd be better off with a Ridgeline as far as which tool fits the job description better. My mother owns an older Honda Pilot (so a ridgeline ha) and it ridiculous how roomy it is inside. I can actually talk with my hands without coming near slapping anyone

The whole "it's not a truck" argument is so dumb because it's so obvious. No kidding. No one said it was. BUT, what should be said is most dudes with a Tacoma drive to work and back, maybe a gravel road or tow a fishing boat at most (most, not all), and wish that their Tacoma was roomier inside (Ridgeline), towed more (Ridgeline), got better gas mileage (Ridgeline), didn't cost so much (Ridgeline), etc. etc. etc. So they chose a tool based on what their butt buddies would think of them rather than what would actually be the better vehicle for their uses.

Again, I'll never own one, but that's because other vehicles/tools fit the jobs I need them to better. Not because they're no good. Great vehicle.
