The new Goodyears on the OR and the Michelin's on the Limited are both significantly better than what came stock on the 2nd gen.

The goodyears are actually exclusively used on the tacoma.

I was really hoping to hear some actual owner reviews of the new good years. But its still probably too soon for that. But so far it sounds like an improvement over the Ruggedfails! Those BFG rugged fails were basically an OEM tire that was supposed to look like the BFG A/T but was cheaper and more conservative for the general public.

So, how many different tires do 3rd gens come with?

Goodyear Wranglers for the TRD OR
Michelin LTX M/S for the Limited
Firestone Destination LE2 OR Hankook Dynapro HT OR Toyo Open Country for others

    Is that the complete list?

Official name for TRD OR tires is the Goodyear Wrangler All-terrain Adventure with Kevlar.

    That's a mouthful.
