    Ha now your talking!

    I may go to HF to buy complete sets and then discard what I don't need. Wasteful perhaps but less expensive than buying sockets one at a time (though I admit buying individual used snap ons for my other kits lol). I would then put the money into high quality ratchets because I enjoy the feel. I could put the sockets on a rail, and make one tool roll with ratchets, a screwdriver, a extra 10mm combination wrench, a couple zip ties, needle nose vise grips and call it good. I could then put the tool roll + rail in a medium sized bag with a few sets of gloves and shop towels. The sockets on a rail would take a little more space but I wouldn't want to work out of a small bag (though it does make the point for the purpose of the video).

    Thanks for sharing. That's exactly how I have been piecing together other car-specific kits.

    :rofl::rofl:
    That's what I've been doing as well check out tekton if you haven't already and capri tools they have some pretty nice stuff for the price. Look at adventure tool company and atlas 46 for a bag. I'm torn between the two so in my nature I'll probably end up with both :rofl:

    25 years and 2 trucks ago I bought a Craftsman 100 pc. tool set in a plastic storage box. Over time I added some stuff to the set as needs came up, snap ring pliers, a longer 1/2" drive extension, JIS screwdriver, and a few other items not necessarily truck related like a tape measure. That set of tools now lives in my Tacoma. It's not always about the tools I need to work on MY truck, but it's certainly bailed out a few other folks I've come across while traveling.

    Jump starter, tow strap, jumper cables, flashlight, flathead, Phillips, super 33 electic tape, 3/8 socket wrench, 10mm "need a few more metric sizes" and a tire plug kit.

    Oh and my rape whistle.
