    That document I uploaded explains the process, basically it's checked at a certain temperature. Once the tranny fluid is at that temperature, with the motor running, you add fluid until it starts coming out the check plug.

    If your having a delay when going from park or reverse to drive, definitely take it to the dealer and tell them that. Part of the TSB is specifically to fix that issue.

    EDIT: FYI, don't remove the check plug on the bottom of the tranny without the motor running, it will start draining fluid!

    Thank you! I have noticed the rpms on tach drop down 2x after shifting...the second drop is very small. I am going to call about the TSB right now. I am off next week..I could leave truck for a few days.

    I am really sorry about the member here who needs a new tranny. Hopefully something can be done to ease the cost.

    Ask them to check it "physically", NOT the damn computer...!! Ask to watch them do it also..(for peace of mind)..!

    it has a fill hole, drain hole, and the overflow tube. three different holes.
