    So do the 18,19,20 Tacoma’s also have the same factory transmission issues as the 17 ? That being said all will require new mapping software and mods to make them get up and go ? Thanks in advance

    Nothing really wrong with the transmission, it works the way Toyota designed it.

    Getting OVtuned helped a ton for me. No more weird shifting and constant power through pedal ratio

    My 19 does not gear hunt (unless using cruise control on inclines) but the factory tune is definitely for maximum mpg. It kind of lags when u smash the gas but that’s about it
