I got a pair of 3rd Gen TRD Pro rear leafs and I’m curious to know if anyone installed these on a 2nd gen. I’ve done some searching and haven’t found much. Some claim these will do not give any lift over a standard 3rd Gen leaf and I’ve read they they have a more progressive rate to them and that the stack is thicker- IDK. I did notice these springs have little round spacers between the springs that our 2nd gens don’t have as well as a small angled shim on the bottom of the leaf pack. Curious to know if they will raise the rear at all, the ride stiffness, and if they are worth the time to install.

I think the Sport, OR and Pro all have the same leaf pack regardless of part#. If you already have a 4 leaf pack than this will not raise your truck. It'll only raise it if you still have the 3 leaf pack. I swapped my 3 leaf for a 3rd gen Sports leaf and gained about 0.5in but I'm also a 2wd so that makes a difference.

all the 3rd gens got the same leaf packs in the rear (sans the pinion shim which has a couple different degrees depending on wheel base length). Essentially the same 3+1 leaf pack as 2nd gen trucks.

Differences between trd sport / sr5 / trd off road / trd pro are in the front coils.

Thanks for the replies. I thought the 3rd Gen Pro was 1” higher all the way around, i guess that is not the case.

Just a beefier coilover than the lower models providing lift up front to level out the stance. Rides beautifully as well!
