Yes you do. Kinda out there a bit.

If you want, since this is a pretty good challenge, just plan it out with some of us with 26+’ gooseneck flatbeds. Drive down, if something happens (not likely unless you’re a throttle jockey), we can get you home at least without worry. I don’t mind at least getting a fellow TW member home. Beer is on you...:D

That’s very smart. I haven’t used my toys as daily drivers since 2001. Wrenching on Sunday all night to get to work on Monday sucks ass.

Yup. I finally quit doing that this summer when I bought the Ford. Now I keep lying to myself and say “one more thing until the 7.3 is reliable and happy”

I suppose I sort of do that now... But I work from home and don't drive the 350 unless I'm going to be able to get it up to temp and keep it there for a while.

For running quick errands I take the Tacoma. I was rocking a $300 LS400 til I went to WFH full time

I would do that, but I hate driving vehicles I don't like. Its a sickness. Everything I ever own will be a project. I would for some reason rather spend $500 on parts for my Ford all the time than buy a civic for $500 and drive it every day

    I can’t drive beaters either.

I did a lot of research and found a 2007 Lexus IS350 with 60k miles. I choose to drive this car over the Duramax any day of the week. Fun car to drive. 306HP, light, RWD, 4 door, checks all the boxes for me.

That would be a great DD. Unfortunately, on the rare occasion I leave my jobsite throughout the day, its to grab a trailer or a few thousand pounds of crap, so the tow rig is the best daily.

Although if I didn't drive it I couldn't get roped into that... Time to think about this
