Finally did some wheeling again. After the recent addition of a front locker, and wheeling some west slope big boy trails, it almost feels like I’m cheating out here on the local stuff

Little optional section on Kelly flats. Pretty much the only part of the trail that’s actually crawling

Never been there. One of the bad things about having a trailer queen.

Yeah it is definitely not worth trailering to. Maybe if you were out on Moody Hill playing in the quarry and decided to take a scenic route over to Kelly Flats. But there really isn't anything I have found in Northern Colorado that's worth loading onto a trailer

Well, NW Colorado has some good stuff :D. It’s in the middle of nowhere though (Rangely).

So we’re you overall happy with your mods? Where to next? Truck looks super capable and no tears for scratches and dents (first one sucks though).

I’m beyond stoked with it right now. I mean basically it’s been minimal suspension work, gears, lockers, and armor, and it has done great on every trail I’ve tried. Unfortunately I talk to @WarFab Armor too much, so after I get the tow pig built how I want it, I’ll be tearing into this thing pretty heavily. Hopefully the funds will be there this winter for the tow rig, and I’ll wheel another year with the taco like this. Want to tackle some crazy stuff as is to prove what these things are capable of.

But between mike and pitting for ultra4 teams, I have a large goal for this truck that I’m hoping to meet in a few years. There won’t be much Toyota left haha

What are you building for a tow rig?

I know the feeling. I rebuilt and revalved my Kings yesterday. I really need to get off my ass and into the garage to mount the rear shocks, clearance everything, build skins....go mess it all up again. I'm sure I will keep the body and cage straight for the first run.....

But I wouldn't place any money on it.....

Learn all you can from the Ultra4 racing. You can learn a lot about shock valving, suspension design, engine setups...etc.

I'll continue this in my build/bs thread so this doesn't congest this thread too bad haha

Wow!! I'm new to the 4X4 off-roading and just really getting started.....some of the pics of your Tacoma's are ridiculous (in an awesome way)!!! I need to get busy with a lift and some more aggressive tires!! Thanks for the inspiration!!

A couple buddies did it a while back, pretty sure they all got body damage.
