Cruised through the Busywild in Elbe, Wa the other weekend. Been through it countless times in wheelers, but figured I'd take the tacoma through it for fun. Put my first dents in it, so I guess its all downhill from here
    PSX_20210904_211358.jpg

Also ordered up stuff to swap some 63s in, a truss for the rear end, and some 2.5 14s. Probably going to french the front hanger into the frame, and figure out if I can mount the rear shackle either through or partially up into frame to keep it low with up travel.

When i was looking into 63s i thought about mounting outside the frame. Our frames are already weak enough and i didnt want to be cutting into it making it weaker. But i was also looking into lift springs so it had decent arch at ride height.

The 11+ springs for the 1500HD/2500 have a bit more arch than the normal 1500 springs and a thicker pack.

IMO the Chevy 63s 4+1 leaf pack gives plenty of lift. I'm running 4+1 but I removed the overload and my rear still sit a little higher than I like it to

Yeah I plan to cut out the stock spare tire crossmember, box the frame, and add new crossmembers. Crazy how little frame is outback for sure! And trying to keep the ride heightish I have now, which is maybe an inch over stock
