I have never had anything stain the paint but some stuff does get thrown off and leave spots on the paint. I now use 303 aerospace protectant on the tires. It leaves them flat black and nothing gets thrown on the vehicle.

This was like a brown almost licorice color stain, and it was unbelievably hard to get off. I have heard all kinds of theories, mainly a chemical reaction with the tire gel and the rubber compound in some tires. I myself could NOT remove it, so I was left with literally a brand new Tacoma and Corolla with stains. I ended up taking them both to a local detailer who got it off with some kind of thinner or lacquer. In fact, he wanted to pay me. He was thankful that I showed him what can happen BEFORE he detailed someone's vehicle and ended up damaging it. I've always liked to shine up my tires, but after this no more tire gel for this guy. I've read some horror stories on other sites of cars that actually ended up having to be repainted. Just use it with care guys until you are sure what's going to happen with it.

One nice thing about catching my truck-to-be coming off the hauler was that I told them "No tire dressing. No. Not that either. Nothing. Please don't put that crap on my tires. Yes, I mean it." Also, I told them no front license plate holder so I don't have extra holes in my bumper. My last truck was white and that stuff got slung all over the paint.

But seriously...The Access Cab is THE best looking profile Tacoma. IMO. But I can not deal with that suicide door. :frusty:

Yeah, I'm on my 3rd DCSB. I guess it's the bed to cab ratio that seems to look good to me. :notsure:

I had a 2006 DCSB and to me the DCLB look more proportional. Still all damn nice looking trucks!

American Roll Tonneau Cover. If you don't mind drilling a couple holes in the truck bed for the drainage tube to keep the water out, then this cover is for you. I don't mind and it's not a big deal. It keeps the water out and quality is great.

Been meaning to post this. Picked it up last week.

Bought the one on the right in 2002 with 6 miles on it, it now has 250k with never any major problems. It's been VERY good to me.

Thirteen years later I figured it was time for a new one. Let's hope this one last just as long. Still haven't figured out all the "buttons\features". HUGE upgrade for me.

Still love my old truck though! Hope to have it many more years.
