claybar isn't going to remove the textured surface, but you can clay that area if you're just trying to decontaminate it.

i just clayed my car before putting on a ceramic coating. I used the optimum brand clay with ONR as a lubricant. Worked great.

i was referring to the yellowing, not the orange peel texture.

@sethwerks If I may, If you look close again at the yellowing along the bottom of the doors ( rocker panel ) there may be a thin plastic strip covering that area. If so that’s what may be yellowing. Should find the same on the bed behind the wheel. Hope this helps

I have this discoloring on mine it won’t wash off and I tried clay bar and that doesn’t work either. I did try low spirit mineral oil in a small test section and it did take it off. When I get time I’ll clean it all off clay bar/wax.

Nice looking truck, you running a lift? Can I ask what tire and wheel set up you got? I’m trying to deside on bfg’s. Also is that Nfab steps 3in gloss or Texture ?
    Thanks Good looking truck.

    Thanks.
Yes It's got the readylift 2"/3" leveling kit.
    Wheels are Pro-comp 40 series, 17x9 -6et
(only about 7/8" clearance on upper A-arm, so if you ever do any real off-roading and air the tires down, it'd rub for sure)
    Tires are 285/70/17 Falken ATW3's
Part number on the nerf bars is #T1678CC-TX

Disclaimer, the readylift isn't terrible, but it definitely ain't comfy compared to stock.
Looking at a real setup currently.

Here is a pic of mine. Just bought this truck on Tuesday and my plan is to remove and replace the film. Door edge guards look the same. It's just dirt and crud that has gotten under the edge of the film.

HiKari LED fogs, Front tint, Plate LEDS, predator bars, bed mat.
I have used 3M adhesive remover in the past to get tar, line paint and other nasty things that a clay bar would not take off.
