I agree, screw the MPG, the clearance and appearance is definitely worth it. So did it just unscrew? Easy enough to put back on if you needed to for some reason?

Yes, unscrewed with about 10 small screws and retaining clips. Will easily bolt right back on.

Ahhhh that makes sense. Damn I prefer the look of the chrome but when I buy I'll likely buy one loaded.

Picked up my 2016 Tacoma TRD OffRoad from Stevens Creek Toyota today. Took a little longer than I had hoped, but got an ok offer on my VW TDI trade in.

I like the truck quite a bit. First 70ish miles (from dealership, back home over a mountain, and some around town driving) averaging 21 so far with the odometer reading 77.

On the TRD on non TRD truck...

I'm old enough to remember folks doing the same thing with base Camaro and Chevelle's. Adding the SS moniker.

Back then it was frowned upon. Usually settled on a lonley 1/4 mile blacktop.

Why does the truck in post 51 have a different grill? I have a white sport coming and hope it shows up with that grill

haters say what they want, but it is amazing how much better the front of a G3 looks next to a G2.

Yeah...you guys need to settle down with the TRD thing. It's not like the guy went out and put TRD stickers from a 16 on his sr5. He just threw a little emblem on it. When I see that, I know it's an aftermarket piece because I'm not dumb as shit. Quit being so butt hurt. Done here

Curious who put the TRD on a non-TRD (I've seen such at a local used dealer). Model 7562A here -- TRD OR AC AT. Good times.

That is the grey chrome grill, must be the lighting. Looks sharp in person IMO.
