Any of you guys with 20-21s have any issues with “rail rust”?

my 18 had it pretty bad, looking to get a 21 in the next few weeks and wasn’t sure if it was still an issue?

weirdly enough didn’t have the paint chipping issue

    Nothing yet
Well, got mine in January, and it sat outside till like 3 weeks ago waiting on me making room for it in the garage. Still, its only been a few months, no issue. But! I also sprayed it down with fluid film like the second week i had it, and will continue to do the rust prevention.

No problem. Keep looking, you'll find something eventually. They are out there, just have to be a little patient, and maybe a little lucky too.

What size tires you have? Do you have a lift?

How are you liking the 88 rotors setup? I’m thinking of going the same route.

It was good for what it was. Nice little lift for a decent price point. Pair it with a good set of 33” Tires and you’ve got yourself a nice stance. It was just always just a temporary setup for me. I’ve since then.

Beautiful. We need details. What does the interior look like? What state are you in, how long was the wait and what did you pay? I looked for your old posts and didn't see you'd ordered one. I am in desperately searching mode but that hasn't prevented me from a 3 day vacation at the beach. You had asked about "rail rust" and no one answered. Rail rust is particles of metal dust landing on a vehicle and then rusting. I think if the dealers do proper prep there should not be any evidence. My 2016 was not having any of the 040 paint issues. I had a good one made in Texas.

    Oof. That’s a lot.

I’m in Florida but purchased at a dealer in the north east. Got a much better deal for the options I wanted and didn’t have to deal with SETF and their dumb builds.

I only had to wait about a week, got lucky, apparently someone else had a deposit on this truck but came in and freaked out when they saw the payments and backed out.

I just checked my 17 and it has the same thing happening but not that bad. I have the 3rd brake light issue and know this. I probably would not bought a 3rd Gen with all the issues this Generation has ... I really was looking for a white 2nd Gen but the prices were ridiculous

You may want to load it upside down in case it rains.
