older thread, but it helped me with my decisions, so thought I'd add mine...did a 5% brow / 15% front sides / 35% backseat and left the rear stock, as I have rear facing dash cam. Overall pretty happy with it...matches very well from inside and out...if I had to do over, probably would've gone darker, like 10% & 20%, as I rarely ever drive at night. this is the first time for a brow and really like it. It takes some getting used to, as the windshield is already so small, but helps when the sun is low. I'm 5'9" and it ends well above my line of sight. Keep in mind that the standard brow template was like 3-4 inches lower and way to low (IMHO). So I had them cut it back to about the AS1 line. Also i like having the extra black trim and also covering up all the different "steps" on the stock windshield from the outside..plus it was only like $15 more and could be easily removed.

looks good, I’m looking to get mine done soon, my biggest concern is matching from the outside. It seems like yours isn’t too bad, also would this be considered PA legal? And if you don’t mind what did it run you?

yes. Not a scratch from paws, but her collar hitting the window if it’s not all the way down.

Thanks, it's been several months and i'm very happy with it. Matches about as good as possible (other than just doing limo on the whole thing.) Now that it gets dark so early, i must say that i'm glad I didn't go any darker, as dark roads/parking lots are tough and usually roll my window down when backing into a spot with a curb on side. I've never had an issue with cops...i feel like they give cars more grief than SUVs/Trucks. I also think not doing the back window keeps them off my back (and makes night driving much better). $265 for 4 side windows and brow. good luck.

Tint shop said it was around 30. First day or 2 I could tell a slight difference from the front to back with the front being slightly lighter but now I can’t tell a difference unless I’m looking for it from a certain angle

    5% rear sides (and back)
    30% front

After getting ticked for the first time EVER in my last vehicle because of 5% all around, I decided to have a good amount of contrast in order to avoid a cop having a bad day.

however, it’s almost too much contrast so I may darken up the fronts some more or just my windshield at 80% with ceramic to reduce heat on the dash. Low priority right now.

both these pics are after tint. Angles and light change a bit

Does anyone have any experience with Suntek CXP film? I was looking into this option to help keep out heat during the summer months. I am just curious how much of a difference people actually notice with this film over just standard tint.
