Is the guy standing behind his work.....and willing to fix it?
If not then hopefully you paid with a credit card and can dispute the charges.

I have zero patience or desire to TRY tinting the windows and mobile just sounds like trouble.

I had to look up what kind it was. It actually looks a lot darker in the pics then it really is. The tint that came the closest to matching the rear windows was 35% and it's called Maxpro professional films made in USA. I had a local mobile guy come by my work and do the two front windows for $75.

Got a kit on ebay from lexen123, 20% fronts, 45% rear/back glass should closely match the fronts without the privacy glass. The back was a bit shorter on the ends but they sent replacements and it fits like a glove. https://www.ebay.com/itm/382969011282

For work I fuel up at the same station as all the police officers, I have asked a couple of them what their personal policy is on window tint. They all said the same thing if your not being a dick or driving like a dick they are not going to hassle you about it. However they also said do yourself a favor and have your windows (front and back) rolled down as they approach the car, window tint makes them nervous as they can't see in the car.

    Oh look, another mod....
I always thought this was their policy, and it explains why I have never been pulled over because of my tint. I have limo tint my Taco, and have had it on the last three vehicles I have owned. I also roll down all my windows if I get pulled over (but that's actually rare for me).

What did you do on the windshield? I want to do 5% but scared it will be too dark to see out of.

It’s not even possible to due 5 on the windshield. You can’t see outta it. I have 50 and have to watch on back roads at night. Drive a truck with 30 on the shield and it was horrible. Every truck I’ve had 5 percent on you literally can’t see out the side glass. I stick 20 on everything and 50 on the shield. Perfect combo

yes it is, someone in the Facebook group did it. Dumb if you ask me. I did 20% on my windows and 35% on windshield with xpel tint on my Silverado and I honestly didn’t have any issues even in the rain. Kept it very cool in the summer also.

I had 3M ceramic installed on all windows on my truck. I had 5% on the rear back glass and two rear windows, 25% on the two front ones and 75 on the windshield. It had made a huge difference in the amount of heat it keeps out. I live in Texas and it's a must have. I have also not had a single cop hassle me about my windshield.

I got 35% in the front and 5% in the rear. I would love to go darker in the front but it’s not legal.

Looks way better though, and protects from UV. Factory glass is just stained.

Same here, I wish I could go with 5% on the fronts and 50% on the windshield. Technically the windshield is not legal here either, but it's so light that you can barely tell. Currently I have the maximum amount of tint I can legally have.

I will do my windshield 75 when I replace my cracked one, haha. Second cracked one at only 30k miles… I installed Bugdeflector 2, so hopefully it helps.

It really helped on my previous truck, 0 rock chips in 7 years.

    Working on it ...
I’m scheduled to get my front windows tinted to match the rear windows on my 2019. The sport double cab long bed. The body shop down the road from me has done some work for me in the house and other vehicles and always seems to have been straight up with me. He’s charging me 150 bucks to do the two front door windows. So I have to ask … does that sound about right?

Its a little steep for florida rates. Usually $150 will get the whole car tinted. Not sure about your area though
