3/1 billstein 5100 lift with 285/75/16 bfgoodrich ko2s. Only spot im rubbing is the piece of plastic in the wheel well on both sides when at almost full lock going over a bumb.

IMHO - Going with the OME Medium Dakar and 888s with 265/75/16 dramatically changed the stance and appearance of my truck; it looks great and not excessively "bro".
Gas mileage took a hit, but I retained the functionality of the upgraded suspension and don't need to trim, modify or level the front end. I've considered 1" Bora spacers to push the stock rims outward. I don't know what that will do to the bearings over time.

Mind if I ask what brand of spacer you went with? I was looking at SpiderTrax and Bora but the thinnest they offer is 1.25" and 0.75" respectively. Thanks

Are those step rails lowered? I like the Shark rail style and I actually like this look but normally they seem pretty flush with the frame...

Nice setup. I wanted a white TuRD, but the dealer had a Silver TuRD waiting for me and I couldn't pass it up. How do the Feds run on the highway? I agonized over Nitto, Toyo, Cooper, Falken, BFG...

If "I" had a dollar for every time you were asked this (in this thread) I could afford me some Fox 2.5's front and 2.0 back...Nice rig for sure!!

Feds are loud, smooth and eat up my mpgs lol my auto doesn’t know what to make of them but they are a must where I live. I paid 800 bucks shipped to my house so I can’t really complain. These are my 3rd set had them on 2 other Toyota’s over the years and they last a long time. But when I lift my truck higher and get some rims I am going swamper boogers. I miss rolling around sounding like an airplane landing.

I haven't seen another Sport with OR wheels so figured I would share in case anyone else wanted a little less wheel and a little more rubber like I did. Stock suspension with 265/75/16 Toyo AT II's.

Have been checking these racks out for a while. Love the idea of wrapping this around my softopper. Great looking rig!

255/85 cooper STmaxx, no lift. I’m surprised that I actually like it this way lol. My prior taco was lifted 2.5” and the needle bearing started going bad immediately... don’t wanna deal with that again (yet). I’m just gonna leave my truck alone for now until my wallet allows for SCS wheels and a 3” lift done right:boink:1FCFA963-1516-4D0B-B403-7DFC90887762.jpg

Are you running stock suspension? This is exactly what I'm thinking about doing to my truck. Have fox 2.5 remote res on order but only thinking about lifting 2" front and 1.5" rear. Love the tire choice

If you look to the left of the post under user name, it lists his modifications. Just FYI.

This silver truck pictured is my old 2016 Tacoma. It had a 3" suspension lift (Toytec lift coils with Billstein 5100's up front and a single AAL in the rear with Billstein 5100's) I had 1" Bora wheel spacers on this truck with Cooper ST Maxx 285/75/16's on stock wheels. I loved the tires and never had any issues with the suspension other than the occasional rubbing while off roading. Here is the link to that trucks build page... https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...build-thread-sold.449858/page-7#post-13884406

The modifications listed under my profile pic are on my current 2017 Tacoma. I traded the 2016 for a 2015 Mustang 5.0 and missed my Tacoma so I ended up trading back for this 2017. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/pvillejohns-good-to-be-back-build-thread.581368/

When these K02's wear down...i'll be going back to the Cooper ST Maxx! Loved those tires!

    Hope this helps!
