Hey guys! I have a few video's up on YouTube already, but I work at a dealership and have all these 3rd Gen Taco's around. Any suggestions/requests for a YouTube video? Usually my video's are demonstrations or "how to" style on new Toyota's. Would love to make a for TW guys!

I have a video request...many (not all) of us 3rd gen owners are not happy with the 6 speed automatic transmission. My main compliant is if I set the cruise around 75 it hunts for gears like crazy and will get stuck in 4th gear. Also there isn't enough power to keep it in 6th gear. With that in mind can you take a new 3rd gen auto out on the interstate and set the cruise at 75 and take a 5 min video of the instrument cluster? I want to compare how my truck acts compared to others. Thanks.

Are you asking how to install a license plate bracket or how to remove the factory front bumper and then install an after market bumper?

Sure! It will probably be Monday that I can put something like that together and have it posted. If I have time between clients to day I might get started on it! I haven't noticed the transmission issues on my 17 OR, but I will drive a couple and see if there are differences and make a video on both if so.

I wish I could, I'm not qualified to make that kind of a video. Most of my stuff are showing off specific features of new Toyota or doing demonstrations on new vehicles. Sorry man!

Thanks for doing this! I did not see the issues im having. Your truck only hit 6th gear for a brief time the first stretch of the video but when you turned around and went back it held 6th the whole time. I would love to take my truck on that same stretch of interstate just to compare.

Don't forget... the Taco has TWO overdrive gears...!!!!!!!! All this CRAP about "gear hunting"...?????? It's not "hunting", it's putting your truck in "the" gear that is best for your speed/pull.....
6th is for NO drag/push....5th is for "a little bit"... 4th is a "real gear", designed to get you where you wanna go..!!

Any chance you can post a video of the Toyota Tech doing a 5,000 mile "sunshine" inspection on a truck..??? I'd really like to actually see what he does..!!!
    Anyone agree..??

I watched a few of your video's prior to my decision to purchase. I found them very informational and appreciate you doing them. Thank you.

You are correct about that but one thing you might have not noticed in this video the truck temp was cold and he went up some small hills. My truck will not shift into 6th gear until the truck engine warms up sometimes it might take a couple of miles before it goes into 6th but once the engine is warm it goes into 6th normally.

Yeah my truck and my old tundra did the same thing when cold. I realize that there is just too many variables to try and compare my truck to others unless we are running side by side. I know exactly where he was though as i have been through there several times. He had it pretty easy on the way back as its slightly downhill with the wind(he's heading South) so I'm confident my truck would have stayed in 6th as well. The bottom line is I'm not happy with mine, but I'm glad others are.

Guys... if the tranny works better "once it's warmed up"... Guess what ....YOU HAVE LOW FLUID...""""!!
Think about it... the shit warms up and expands.. it now fills the spots that it did not fill when cold...

Do you need to know, or care?
Thousands of videos on truck features and walk arounds, how about posting videos from the service department? Would like to see videos from the senior techs about troubleshooting specific issues they've come a crossed and how they fixed them.
